Can I Transform My Bedroom in 10 Steps for $100

$100 Bedroom Makeover Challenge

100 Room Makeover Challenge: Reveal Week!

It’s finally reveal week for the 100 room makeover challenge, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how this project has turned out. If you missed the first three weeks of this challenge, you can find them here, here, and here. I set out to completely refresh my bathroom for under 100 using Milk Paint by Fusion. The bathroom is part of my Master bedroom, and it just didn’t flow with the room since I refreshed it last Spring. Read about it here.

The Before Pictures

Here is the bathroom before the refresh began:

I had planned to replace the builder mirror with a vintage one and the counter with a wood one, but our Covid lockdown and some industrial-strength adhesive put a stop to both of those. I was still able to tackle a significant list of projects, though. They included:

  • Painting the counter
  • Painting the cabinets
  • Replacing the cabinet hardware
  • Painting and hanging a vintage cabinet
  • Creating a new piece of art from an old window

The Transformation

All in all, the changes I was able to make completely transformed the small, windowless room. It looks so much brighter and lighter now, as well as looking more cohesive with the Bedroom.

The After Pictures

And once again, here is the Bathroom before and after:

It is absolutely amazing what a little bit of paint and elbow grease can do!
