7 Winter Boho Decor Ideas to Refresh Your Space

Seasonal Boho Decor (Winter)

Last Minute Simple Global Bohemian Winter Entryway Decorating Ideas

This season, I decided to do something different. Typically, I start my seasonal decorating with the entryway area since it is the first space you see and experience. The entryway or foyer sets the mood for the rest of the house, and I must admit that the mood was still fall pumpkins up until this past weekend. However, it was easy to create a welcoming winter entryway with a few simple decor changes and projects.

Creating a Global Bohemian Winter Entryway

Here are some simple global bohemian winter entryway decorating ideas to take you through Christmas and winter. A simple wreath can do wonders in winterizing your home. You can update an old wreath with new evergreen clippings or create a simple Scandinavian evergreen wreath like I did last week. It’s such a simple tutorial and incorporates the plaid ribbon that has been a favorite of mine this season.

A Simple yet Chic Console Table

Your entryway console table doesn’t have to be over the top in terms of decorations. A few simple centerpieces can make your entryway feel cozy and still chic. Though I am a maximalist at heart, I’m really loving the simple stylings based on Scandinavian design this season. I used a couple of simple Scandinavian centerpieces made with candles to bring in some cozy feelings to the entryway.

Some of the elements that make up my entryway decor include:

  • A tray with some ribbon and pinecones
  • A thrifted stool that still sits on the table shelf (I’m still planning to recover this little stool as soon as I find some fabric inspiration)
  • A warm sheep skin hide, which peeks through my teal woven basket
  • A little vase filled with pheasant feathers

Creating a Cohesive Look

Notice that the ribbon is demonstrated in some way at each level of my entryway. This makes each level of my entryway decor cohesive and more pleasing to the eye. The pheasant feathers in the vase also bring in the pheasant feather elements from the wreath, creating a sense of continuity.
